Meet Kate

Kate Barnes was raised in Australia, and to her, being Aussie means being authentic, approachable, and real. She entered the real estate industry at age 16 by helping her mother with administrative duties. Kate’s mother taught her that genuine care is the key to success. Before starting university, she sailed around Australia for a year, and her adventure showed her that true responsibility is all about diligence, processes, and good communication. Kate earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in marketing, and in 2017, she became an agent.

 

Kate realized her lifelong dream to move to California in 2018, and she earned the METIS Real Estate Grit Award in her new market. From the beautiful, inspiring neighborhoods of the Peninsula to the creative, energetic hubs in the East Bay, Kate is truly passionate about the Bay Area. She tackles this competitive market with a clear strategy and a commitment to personal excellence, including interior design studies. Kate guarantees authenticity, dedication, efficiency, and VIP-level service. She caters to professionals, especially in the tech sector, looking to buy their first property or upgrade.

 

Kate is also the founder of Dance Zone Productions. As a professional salsa dancer and instructor, she empowers students through dance. Kate’s dance accolades include first place at the Australian Salsa Open and second place in the Hong Kong Latin World Championships. She is blessed to work with the city of Palo Alto, providing dance lessons to adults and children with disabilities.
